The press allows you to seal various types of aluminum crucibles as well as gold and medium pressure crucibles. Under the pressure of the plunger, the pan is hermetically cold-welded to the lid. Since different crucibles types require different plunger and die sets, the sets can be exchanged quickly and easily.
