Function Introduction	The perfect aluminum crucible for samples with a weak signal that require a high sample mass. Excellent Thermal Conductivity The flat base ensures perfect thermal contact. Pans with pin are recommended if reproducibility is critical. They cannot be used with a robot. No usage of furnace expander required The crucible can be used without furnace expander if the lid is reversed (maximum volume reduced to approx. 150 μL).

Usage :

This large crucible is used for DSC measurements of samples that exhibit very weak effects. Temperature gradients within the sample are to be expected because of the height of the crucible, which is the reason why measurement peaks are somewhat broader. For the same reason, heating rates of more than 10 K/min should not be used.

Notice :

To ensure heat transfer efficiency between sample and sensor, please select quality sample pan/crucible with suitable temperature range to conduct experiment, so to get the most accurate effect.

Quality sample pan and crucible is helpful to expand DSC application range. With more sample put in large sized sample pan/crucible to measure weak thermal effect, and to get better resolution, light sample pan/crucible with better thermal conductivity can be used.
