Application of Alumina Ceramic in Electronic Industry
Alumina ceramic is a ceramic material which mainly contains aluminum oxide. It is applied to thick-film integrated circuits for its excellent performance of thermal conductivity, mechanical strength and high-temperature resistance.

Application of Alumina Ceramic in Multi-chip Package:
Alumina ceramic multi-layered substrate is used for multi-chip packages. Its manufacture methods include thick film printing method, ceramic green body laminating method, ceramic green body printing method and thick-film hybrid method.
Thermal conductivity coefficient of commonly used thermal conductive gaskets is below 2.0W/(m*K). For high thermal conductive Bergquist Sil-Pad 2000 series, the thermal conductivity is only 3.5W/(m*K), while thermal conductivity of alumina ceramic is as high as 29.3W/(m*K), also it is an ideal material to substitute silicone sheets, silicon dioxide films, flexible silicone pads, insulation particles and mica sheets.

Application of Alumina Ceramic in High-Pressure Sodium Lamp (HPS lamp) Arc Tube:
Translucent alumina ceramic is made of poly-crystalline opaque alumina ceramic material with high purity (VK-L100G, 99.999%). It is applied in HPS lamp and the luminous efficiency is twice as that of mercury lamp.
High purity translucent alumina ceramic manifests good performance of high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high insulation, high strength and low dielectric loss. As an excellent optical ceramic, it can also be used for the viewing window of microwave oven.

Application of Alumina Ceramic in Nano sensors:
The grain boundaries, pores and other structures of nanosized alumina ceramic particles with high purity (VK-L100G) are sensitive to environment with high temperature and corrosive gas, so it is used as sensitive parts of sensors, which can provide accurate and rapid detection and control information.
