• High Hardness and Wear Resistance

In chemical system, alumina ceramic is used for manufacturing reaction vessels, tubes and parts of chemical pumps.

Alumina ceramics also can be applied as knives, bullet-proof materials, drawing dies and extruded pencil core die nozzles for its high hardness.

And it is commonly used as abrasive tools, human joints and wear seals for its good wear resistance.

• Excellent Electrical Insulation

Alumina ceramic shows good property of electrical insulation at high temperature, so it is usually used as bushing tubes and protection tubes of thermocouples.

In addition, Al2O3 ceramic with stable structure has low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, and can maintain excellent insulation in atomic reactors.

In electronic industry, it is widely used for manufacturing integrated circuit substrate tube holders and cases, ceramic stand and missile radar antenna protection cover.

• High Air Tightness

Alumina ceramic products have high air tightness even at high temperature, therefore they are widely used in electrical vacuum environment. For example, alumina ceramic can be applied in large electronic tube cases and dual in-line package cases in microcircuits.

• High Thermal Insulation

Alumina ceramic shows excellent properties of not only high temperature resistance but also high thermal insulation, so it is widely used as thermal insulation material for wall and roof of high temperature furnace.
